Lagoon triggerfish

Its body is more slender than that of other triggerfish. Its common name comes from the fact that its markings resemble the paintings of the great modern artist, Picasso. Because of the yellow line running around its lips, its mouth appears enormous, though it is not actually large. Its name in Hawaii—where it is revered as a national fish—means “pig-nosed spiny fish.” It is territorial. At night, it sleeps on its side in its burrow. It is omnivorous, consuming a wide variety of foods ranging from algae to crabs, fish, and sea urchins.
